We were suppose to go to Crystal River, FL this year for spring break ... but, with the gas prices like they are, we only went half as far ~ to Myrtle Beach, SC! I haven't been there since I was in 7th grade and I loved it all over again! Only my youngest daughter, Molly, was able to go with us so she brought her friend, Nicole along for the week. We decided to take our two dogs, Bailey and Oakley. Oakley is only 7 months old and what a hoot he was! We bought a "new" camper (for us) the Monday before we were to leave on Friday. Note to self: don't EVER do THAT again!! We wanted to clean it top to bottom, of course ~ so, off with the curtains, bedding, etc. ~ steam cleaned the upholstery and carpets...scrubbed every nook and cranny ~ I had no idea how many there could be in a 25' travel trailer!!
It took us forever to GET to Myrtle Beach ~ the traffic on 95 south was horrendous. The puppy had more fun than any of us with his ears flapping in the breeze every time we got to move beyond a crawl.
Walking him at the campground was a chore. Everyone loves a puppy and he's super cute ... so, it took us forever to take a walk. He's also still learning the art of going potty outside...so, the interruptions were right up his alley!
My daughter wanted to take him out on the beach the first day we were there.
She would flick the sand and he had NO idea it was her doing it so he would dig, dig, dig trying to find what made the sand move!
The boys next to us on the beach were burying each other in sand ~ like all boys do ~ and our little guy wanted in on the action, I'm convinced! So, he dug a hole and begged to be buried, too!
It was a great week at the beach and he loved pushing poor Bailey off my lap on the ride home...
Looking forward to the next trip to Ocean Lakes! That place was great!

That is so cute! Even dogs like to be buried in the sand ;)
